ok broo,do this:
open "MapSource" on your computer...select map what you need...
up in menu,you will finde little icon with name "map tool" push and with that button select whole map..like in photoshop...
then use "transfer" opcion and "send to device" thats all...first unlock map on your computer,then later you don't need to make "unl" file to unlock map..that's all
you need little time to copy this map on you'r phone...:'(

after trying to install garmin update for two days on an e71 with no success i came accross the following procedure

1 uninstall garmin using the application manager

2 make a copy of the vehicles and points of interest folders from your original installation

3 delete all file and folders relating to garmin from your memory card

4 install the update GarminMobileXTforSymbianS603rdEdition_50020

7 using pletars keygen and mapsource unlock the topo map of your choice and install it

8 using pletars keygen create the file SW.UNL and save it as per his instructions

9 copy the vehicles and points of interest folders back to garmin on your memory card

10 restart the phone and you are done

all credit goes to pletar for this thread and his maps and keygen

i hope this information saves somebody the time and trouble i went through and it may well work for other phones

i trIed that method m8 but i was in a world of paIn for 2 days trying to get it to work (phone freezing on Gamin start screen, refusing to start at all,then refusing to accept the unlock code etc,etc,etc :-(( ) thats why i issued the workaroundi, i hope you don;'t think i was trying to take over your thread YOU ARE THE GPS NINJA!!!
be well my friend and keep up the good work -YOUR SOFTWARE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

btw my method ONLY works if you install direct to the memory card NOT via USB cable so you'd better have a card reader.
