deco operation on Manufacture
Good Evenning, I am the first time to join this BBS. I don't know to say anything. So I just put the description about the deco operation on Toys field as below. This is the brief to count the deco operation. If you enjoy this, please give it as an "UP". Thank you
Generally:
0. Paint ops are counted on each part separately. Tampo print is preferred to spray however similar in price/op. Tampo decoration can be separated into processed colors just as flat graphics.
1. Each decoration op is maximum of ~3/8 diameter..., if larger coverage or spanning greater length, the op counts proportionally higher - as two, three, etc.
2. Each deco op can cover no more than 120 included degrees ie; cylinder shape requires three ops if applied to the complete diameter. - correspondingly a sphere requires 5 ops if painting the entire surface.
3. 'Book' op can comparably cover 360 degrees on protruding geometry and will cost approx. 2 to 3 times a single book mask or tampo that can cover 120 degrees.
4. Paint ops count each color up to 120 degrees and up to 3/8 inch in length.
5. Light colors over dark count as two
6. Polypropylene needs additional count for every color for primer 7. Tight interior corners (< 20 degrees included draft) counts additional op for every ~3/8 length of each color..
8. Free hand op counts the same as mask or tampo per every 3/8 inch diameter coverage.
9. 'Wipes' cost between 3 to 10 times as high per op and should generally be avoided.
10. Plating, pearl, flake, clear coat, etc. finishes count specially and every op including these should add one each color area.
