Tom tom Vs Garmin Vs Route66 Vs Sigic Mac Guider

Helloeveryone, when adding that I have only tried Route66 and Sigic MacGuider, but the second you what the best navigator for our mythicalNokia N95?
I consider the best Route66 even if it has a big handocap because you can not put the POI ke you say?

Yuan69 2008-4-20 21:56

I tested it and in my opinion Garmin is very very bad. Tom Tom is the number one. Number 2 Sygic and on 3 I have Route 66

Garmin is good

SirLouen 2008-4-23 22:17

when we have access to tt7 then tomtom will be the killer (lastest maps). now sygic is the best deal (or route66 that has better maps)

Dennishv 2008-4-23 22:22

Does anyone know if they are developing a version of TomTom, which can work with the internal gps receiver of the N82?

May be the Tele Atlas maps of TomTom are very good but the problem is it can not be used with built in GPS. So you need to buy an external one.
But  you are asking, best one for N95.

It depends. For example for some countries Garmin is the best choice. The local partner of the Garmin Inc is the important point here. e.g. Bilsoft in Turkey is giving a extraordinary map support to Garmin. Most of the N95 users are using Garmin in their phones.
On the other hand Garmin's maps are not looking as good as Sygic or Route66's map. They are more sketchy despite very fine detailes are marked on it.
Sygic is preferable for users in Europe, mainly Western Europe. e.g You can find 3D components in the maps.
So I suggest you to check your local Forums in terms of finding mostly choosed one and why that version is the leading GPS application in your country.

Sincerely,

rasava 2008-4-26 18:30

I think tomtom is the best.

sop 2008-4-28 15:16

I think Garmin is very okay on my N95 8GB.
It'sd very easy to use but yes an bit slow....

PuSSieCat 2008-4-28 15:39

Sygic is the best!!

Maestro42 2008-4-28 17:30

Right now i'm using sygic (mc version) and it very good, clear indications and uptodate maps. Tried garmin, the software ok but not as good for me as sygic and the garmin maps are outdated (even the 2008 maps does not have updates of roads finish last year). Tom tom is the best in giving indications such as turn right and keep to the left side.

DaisukeUmon 2008-4-28 20:40

I use Sygic, TomTom is the best, but it doesn't work with internal gps!
Sygic (McGuider now) rocks as well!
